Gift Wrapping Ideas That Look Expensive
Expensive-looking wrapping comes from restraint and neat edges, not fancy paper. Here are ideas you can do at home.

Pick one color family
Two or three tones, such as kraft, cream and deep green, look planned. A mix of five patterns looks chaotic.
Use plain paper and good ribbon
Plain paper with a fabric or satin ribbon looks better than printed paper with plastic curling ribbon.
Add one natural touch
A sprig of rosemary, a dried orange slice or a pine twig under the bow adds texture for almost nothing.
Fold clean edges
Cut paper to size, fold the edges under and use double-sided tape so no tape shows.
Layer tissue in a box
Two sheets of tissue in a plain box feel like a boutique unboxing.
Write a real tag
A handwritten tag on heavy paper finishes the gift.
